We launched a project to replace all nonrecyclable packaging with others using sustainable materials. In Spain alone, thanks to this initiative we will reduce plastic bottles by 1,500,000 each year. The project will be progressively extended to other company facilities until it applies to all MAPFRE employees in Spain. This marks another step forward in our commitment to sustainability, which has been endorsed by major recognitions, such as the company’s inclusion as one of the 15 Spanish companies on the 2018 Dow Jones Sustainability World Index, as well as on CDP’s Climate A-List for the third consecutive year, among others.
