The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, SFMOMA, considered one of the most important art museums in the United States and the worldwide mecca of photography, has been hosting the Brassaï exhibition organized by Fundación MAPFRE since November. It offers a comprehensive journey through the career of this famous photographer who, during the interwar period, greatly enriched the potential of photography as a form of artistic expression. This is not the first collaboration between these two institutions.
In 2015, Fundación MAPFRE presented the Garry Winogrand exhibit together with this museum and will shortly be presenting the Anthony Hernandez exhibition in Madrid.
