The Employment Aid program, which has provided grants every year since 2013 in Spain, seeks to foster job opportunities primarily for two groups with special difficulties: young people and the over-50s. Most of the beneficiaries – 66 percent – are female. Fundación MAPFRE encourages these contracts by contributing 500 euros per month for nine months to those companies that hire a new worker on a full-time contract; in the case of part-time contracts, the incentive is 300 euros.
