September saw the presentation of the report Young People in the Virtual World: Uses, Practices and Risks, which analyzes the behavior of youngsters aged 14-24 as regards their use of social networks and the Internet, as well as the principal risks they believe they are exposed to.
Compiling the results of surveying 1,400 youngsters all over Spain, the study explains why they use the new technologies, what activities they abandon in order to go online, how much time they devote to social networks and what they feel are the pros and cons of using them, and who they turn to when they encounter some IT-related conflict or problem.
