Fundación MAPFRE participated in the creation of different multi-sensory spaces in Malta with the collaboration of the Inspire Foundation. This project helps people with special needs, whether they have physical, intellectual, emotional or behavioral issues, to learn through the use of sensory stimulation.
In these spaces, children with learning disabilities, ADHD or some intellectual disability have the chance to stimulate their senses, enhance their emotional development, develop communication and social interaction skills, minimize defiant behaviors or strengthen self-determination, among other things.
The activities offered in these spaces are directed by certified professionals.
