With Insurance Initiation, Fundación MAPFRE offers university students a course on what exactly insurance is and how it works, as well as its importance within the finance sector. In addition, it explains the key concepts and
features of insurance contracts, the different types of insurance that exist and how an insurance company is organized and managed.
Then there is the Attention to Diversity course: the customizable teaching method offers educators a framework for reflection on the diversity of needs among schoolchildren nowadays (due to multiple factors – race, ethnicity, religion, culture, origin, etc. – but also cognitive and socioemotional aspects) and reveals the strategies and tools
available in order to customize teaching practices in the classroom.
