MAPFRE is celebrating a special anniversary in Brazil: it is a quarter of a century since it acquired the Vera Cruz insurance group in 1992. Twenty-five years later, it has become its second largest market, only behind Spain. In São Paulo, Antonio Huertas underscored the feat of having achieved 12 million customers in such a strategically important market. “MAPFRE’s global dimension would be inconceivable without Brazil.”
