The Chairman and CEO of MAPFRE recently granted an interview to the Advisor journal of the international law firm Clifford Chance, in which he spoke about innovation and the future of the insurance industry, among other topics.
“We are experiencing a revolution and I’m optimistic about it. We should not fear technology. Insurance companies have always been managers of Big Data, but the data we had previously was different from nowadays,” he stated. “The new technologies enable us to interact better with our customers and add elements that were previously unknown.”
