The exhibition of this German photographer’s work can be visited at the Recoletos Hall in Madrid through September 10. It includes 185 photographs and a score of books from the career of this 20th century German photographer, from the early 1920s right up to the 1960s.
Portraits. Fundación MAPFRE Photography Collections
Through September 3 the Fundación MAPFRE Recoletos exhibition hall presents a selection of over 100 works by 22 different artists, all drawn from the vaults of the Foundation’s photography collection. The central theme is 20th century portraits, where artists from different latitudes and historical moments have approached depicting the human form in so many ways.
