Both companies participated in the congress on the civil engineering applications of drones organized by the Community of Madrid.
Now in its third edition, Civildron was attended by world experts in these devices known as RPA (Remotely Piloted Aircraft), in which various sectors are involved: regulators, administrations, the insurance industry, manufacturers, operators and hardware/software developers, among others.
CESVIMAP, which has already been investigating with drones for over a year in order to support MAPFRE’s insurance business, attended as the sole speaker in the sector’s category. It is also the first automobile center authorized by AESA (the Spanish Aviation Safety Agency) to fly drones of up to a maximum take-off weight of 25 kg (55 lbs).
