Last January the Chairman of Fundación MAPFRE Guanarteme, Ignacio Baeza, the judge of Juvenile Court No.1 of Las Palmas, Reyes Martel, and the President of the Agricultural Cooperative in the north of Gran Canaria, Ricardo Díaz Suárez, signed a collaboration agreement to promote the vocational training of young people at risk of social exclusion.
This is an agricultural training course for 20 young people to acquire the practical skills needed to work in agriculture, which is currently one of the sectors with the greatest demand for skilled labor.
